GOP establishment RINO Mitch McConnell , the Senate Majority Leader, again remains the least popular Senator in either political party in the U.S. Senate, according to the new rankings compiled by Morning Consult.
As you can see in the Morning Chart below, McConnell leads the list of the worst, followed by fellow RINOs John McCain , Lindsey Graham and Lisa Murkowski . Democrat Claire McCaskill from Missouri rounds out the top five of the least popular.
All four RINOs have abysmal Liberty Scores, receiving big fat “F” grades according to Conservative Review’s rating system, which indicates the quartet are basically Democrats masquerading as Republicans.
Fellow Arizona RINO Senator Jeff Flake joins McCain in the top ten least popular, coming in a sixth place tie with Tammy Baldwin from Wisconsin. Flake is up for re-election in 2018.
Over on the positive side, if you can call this positive, wild-eyed Soviet-style socialist Bernie Sanders from Vermont is the nation’s most popular senator according to the survey, followed by Senator Patrick Leahy , who often appears highly intoxicated on the Senate floor.
The most popular Republican on the list is Wyoming Senator John Barrasso . Morning Consult notes that Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska saw the biggest drop among incumbents who ran in 2016, as well as the biggest drop overall: Her net approval dropped 26 points.
