[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It is getting harder and harder to be a Christian these days. With government working diligently to replace long-held moral convictions with secular beliefs and squashing those who resist, Christians in America are facing precisely the kind of religious persecution from which the pilgrims had fled.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]In addition to government oppression, Christians are besieged by social and cultural attacks by those advancing warped agendas.
Case-in-point: homosexual crusaders seeking to legitimize sinful behavior have literally re-written the Holy Bible in a way that does not offend homosexuals.
The “Queen James Bible” is the latest and most-outrageous sacrilege to emerge from the radical left.
“The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible,” stated the editors.
“We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded,” the editors claimed.
While none can claim to be a “perfect Christian” and none can claim to follow every single one of God’s instructions perfectly, the foundational principle of Christianity is to try- to try and be a better person, to try to refrain from sin and when one fails, ask for forgiveness.
What the “Queen James Bible” does is legitimize sin.
Already, the internet is abuzz with some key differences in the texts.
Discussing the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra:
Original KJV: “And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them.”
Queen James Bible: “And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may rape and humiliate them.”
“We side with most Bible scholars who understand the story of Sodom and Gomorra to be about bullying strangers.”
“Rapes such as this one are common between men in prison; they aren’t sexual acts, they are power-dominating acts,” the editors maintained.
Of course, the new “Bible” also deals with passages that expressly condemned homosexuality:
KJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.
QJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination. (Page 75)
KJV: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
QJV: If a man also lie with mankind in the temple of Molech, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Page 76)
KJV: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against their nature.
QJV: Their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, left of the natural use of the woman, burned in ritual lust, one toward another. (Page 545)
KJV: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
QJV: Men with men working that which is pagan and unseemly. For this cause God gave the idolators up unto vile affections, receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (Page 545)
Can there be any question any longer that the homosexual agenda is at-odds with Christian beliefs? Not only must we endure the Justice System’s forceful persecution of businesses who decline business that would violate their moral principles, but we must now endure a sickening revision of our sacred text.
On a side note, imagine if we re-wrote the Koran to suit our tastes. Would the left call this a brave act to strengthen tolerance?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
