After Obama’s Gun Control Announcement, Charlie Daniels had a Brilliant Response

On Tuesday, Barack Obama stood before the cameras and spoke to the nation spewing lies as he announced his unconstitutional edicts, which he refers to as executive actions, to attack and begin the dismantling of the Second Amendment in his attempt to fulfill his promise to ‘fundamentally transform America.’

Although Obama claims that his gun control plan is consistent with the Second Amendment, or something, clearly he has failed to read the key words within the amendment, “shall not be infringed.” Plus, that is a flat out lie.

Following Obama’s press conference, country music legend Charlie Daniels took to Twitter to call Obama out for his immense hypocrisy in actions that are quite obviously contradictory.

Criminals don’t obey laws. That’s why they are criminals. There was a law that they failed to obey. So, contrary to what Obama and his ilk want you to believe, gun control will not eliminate gun violence. It will not curtail criminality.

What it will do, however, is put innocent, law-abiding Americans in harms way, leaving them unable to defend themselves against a criminal with a gun if they are left without theirs.
