Anti-Gun Nutjob FLIPS OUT Over JC Penney Advertisement

Remember that kid who was disciplined in elementary school for having chewed his morning Poptart into the shape of a gun? As maddening as that was, this lady might be even slightly more ridiculous. A woman (yes, a grown woman) has pitched a very-public fit over a JC Penney advertisement that she says glorifies gun violence.

Rita Richardson is a diehard JC Penney fan, but spied an advertisement for a tank top shirt that says “Suns out guns out,” a reference to baring one’s arms (AKA one’s “guns.”)

So, did Richardson roll her eyes and move onto the next page as so many of us do when we see something that we dislike? Nope. In true liberal fashion, Richardson contacted the media and pitched a major, public fit.

“I just thought it was sad that a major retailers like JC Penny would want its brand associated with something that advocates, glorifies gun violence,” Richardson said.

Richardson says that she is a regular customer of JC Penney. “That’s why I read their ad and look for sales, but they could just give this some more attention.”

Yes- with all that is going on in our culture, this is what demands attention- A reference to biceps.

Priorities, people.
