Republican Party Headquarters in this Battleground State Receives a Bomb Threat

On Sunday, the county GOP headquarters in Orange County, North Carolina was firebombed in a criminal act that is being called “political terrorism.” In addition to the firebomb, which caused a total loss of the office, the words “Nazi Republicans get out of town or else” were also spray painted on another building.

On Monday afternoon, another Republican party office received a bomb threat via a phone call. The state headquarters for the Republican Party in Phoenix received a non-specific threat of a bomb at their location at 3:20 pm local time.

Police are currently searching the building.

Arizona GOP Chair Robert Graham tweeted about the incident following Trump’s lead in blaming liberal Democrats although an investigation is still pending. It should be noted that a group of Democrats launched a GoFundMe campaign to help reopen the Orange County, North Carolina GOP office. They set a goal of $10,000 and raised $13,000 in a matter of hours.
