‘Arizona Grassroots Action’ is Anything But Grassroots

The super PAC (political action committee) known as Arizona Grassroots Action has been lighting up the internet for the last few months with misleading, false and outright personal character assassinations against the main primary opponent of RINO relic John McCain  — Arizona State Senator Dr. Kelli Ward.

It’s difficult to go to any conservative news and commentary website in America without seeing hatchet hits against Ward, labeling her as “Chemtrail Kelli.”

Deceptive TV ads are flooding the airwaves calling to “Defeat Kelli Ward,” as if she were the incumbent in the race.

But just how “grassroots” is the Arizona Grassroots Action?  What if it’s not “grassroots” at all, but is just a John McCain front group, funded by his big-moneyed crony pals who have been sucking off the tit of big government — and the favoritism McCain, who will be 80-years-old next month, has provided since replacing the iconic and legendary conservative Barry Goldwater as U.S. Senator in 1987?

It turns out that a list of donors supporting the pro-McCain super PAC is anything but “grassroots,” a name obviously chosen in order to dupe Arizonans into thinking it was affiliated with Arizona grassroots voters and pro-Constitution, pro-liberty Tea Party conservatives, the same type of individuals who organized an overwhelming and embarrassing censure of McCain by the Arizona GOP just two years ago for his liberal Democrat voting record.

Instead, Arizona Grassroots Action is funded by hedge-fund billionaire and pro-amnesty, open borders promoter Paul Singer, and other well-heeled, well-connected out-of-state mega-donors.

Here’s a list of the top ten “grassroots” donors funding McCain’s deceptive front group. Let’s just say they aren’t granny from your local Arizona Tea Party rally scrambling to scrape up $50 to restore constitutionally limited government.

And notice how many of these top ten “grassroots” donors are from the great state of Arizona. Surely, if this is a “grassroots” organization — as the name guarantees — then the majority of contributions would be local, wouldn’t they?

It turns out that zero, zilch, nada of the top ten largest contributors are from the State of Arizona.

The biggest contributor, New York investor Ron Perelman, with a reported net worth of $15.6 billion, has contributed a whopping $350,000 ($250k on 4/22/16, and $100K on 10/23/15) to smear Kelli Ward for John McCain.

If anyone has evidence of Mr. Perelman’s involvement in conservative grassroots Arizona politics or has seen him at any local Tea Party rallies, please let me know.

Our analysis shows that 91 percent of donations to Arizona Grassroots Action is from out-of-state donors. Only 9 percent is from Arizona citizens.

This is why John McCain , a liberal Democrat masquerading as a Republican, continues to get elected in the State of Arizona election cycle after election cycle. He gives government favor, through the complex tax code and government regulations, to his crony pals, who then fund him with megabucks to smear his opponents every six years.

Before you believe the smears against John McCain’s primary opponents, voters must be informed of the dark money that is behind the politics of personal destruction, where it’s coming from, and wonder what John McCain is getting in return.

Do not be deceived by John McCain, who has a long history of attacking the same Tea Party grassroots voters his Super PAC pretends to represent.
