In Fort Wayne, Indiana, a young man asked Ted Cruz to sign a copy of Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto, perhaps as a joke, or maybe as a gotcha situation, but how Cruz responded is classic.
As ABC News campaign digital journalist Ben Gittleson reported via Twitter on Thursday, Ted Cruz wrote in the book that seemingly is the handbook for the modern Democrat Party, “Millions have suffered because of this.”

Cruz’s comment is completely accurate, of course, as most brutal tyrants in modern history used the book as their operating manual, resulting in the death of tens of millions of innocent victims of the godless and evil ideology that puts all power in the hands of a powerful ruling central government, at the expense of personal liberty.
As Twitchy reported, even some who are not fans of Ted Cruz could not refute his comment:
Still not a Cruz fan, but this is pretty good. Trolled the troll. https://t.co/c8VGo5lV1w

You can imagine the disappointed troll walking away after the autograph, feeling foiled, thinking, “Darn, I thought I had him.”
He should rest assured that the value of that book just increased immensely.
