An almost giddy Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, most likely exhilarated at the prospect of seeing Obama out of power, gave warm congratulations to Donald Trump following his historic victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, a victory that stunned pollsters and political prognosticators across the board.

Netanyahu said Trump has shown over the years to be consistently a “great friend of Israel,” a stance he “deeply appreciated” and that he looks forward to working towards “advance security, prosperity, and peace.”

“I’m confident that the two of us working closely together will bring the great alliance between our two countries to even greater heights,” Netanyahu, who has been a strong opponent the Obama-Kerry nuclear deal with the Islamic terrorist country of Iran, said.

Last July, Benjamin Netanyahu described the Iran deal as “a stunning historic mistake.
