Best-Selling Conservative Author Throws Donald Trump a Major Challenge; And it Involves a Large Amount of Cash

Brad Thor Donald Trump

Best-selling mega author Brad Thor, who has written 14 New York Times best-selling thrillers, calls himself a “true conservative” — and Donald Trump a phony one.

Brad Thor, author of “Code of Conduct,” used Donald Trump’s favorite social media tool, Twitter, to call out Trump’s position inconsistencies, challenging him directly to a “one-on-one, open and public debate,” against Trump, and even threatened to declare his presidential candidacy as well, if that’s what it would take to get Trump in the ring.

Hearing no immediate response from Donald Trump, Thor turned up the heat, saying that he’d meet Trump “anywhere, anytime to debate,” and even offering to donate $100,000 to the Young America’s Foundation, a group that introduces students to conservatism through campus programs, in honor of former conservative Republican President Ronald Reagan.

Brad Thor didn’t stop there, saying the two could get conservative talk show legend Rush Limbaugh to moderate the debate live from his Florida radio studio at the EIB Network.
Thor said that he is no fan of the GOP or D.C. establishment, but that he’s not dumb enough to fall for a “Democrat” like Donald Trump.

UPDATE: Brad Thor isn’t letting up. On Friday he hit hard on Donald Trump’s previously declared position of being in favor of universal health care, a position to the left of Obamacare. Thor expressed disbelief that pro-Constitution, limited government Tea Party members were being duped into supporting a “pro-universal healthcare candidate.”
