Bill Maher Asks WikiLeaks Founder to Hack Trump’s Tax Returns [VIDEO]

Leftist Bill Maher, host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” on HBO, asked WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to hack Donald Trump’s elusive tax returns on Friday night.

WikiLeaks recently revealed embarrassing emails hacked from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which led to the resignation of former head Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the firing of several other top officials.

Maher, a leftist progressive Democrat, tried to persuade Assange to go after Donald Trump, the Republican nominee as well.

“It looks like you are working with a bad actor — Russia — to put your thumb on the scale and basically f—k with the one person who stands in the way of us being ruled by Donald Trump,” Maher said.

“Why don’t you hack into Donald Trump’s tax returns?” Maher asked Assange.

“Well, we’re working on it,” Assange answered.

Donald Trump has previously given the excuse that he cannot release his tax returns because they’re “under audit, even though the IRS said in February that Trump is free to release the returns at any time.

Trump campaign head recently said on “CBS This Morning” that Trump would not be releasing his taxes before the November election, causing many to wonder what he’s hiding.

On Tuesday, fellow billionaire Warren Buffett, a Democrat supporter of Hillary Clinton, challenged Trump to release his tax returns.

“I’ll bring my tax return. He can bring his tax return. Nobody is going to arrest us. There are no rules against showing your tax returns and just let[ting] people ask questions about the items that are on there,” Buffett said at a Clinton campaign rally in Omaha, Nebraska. “I will meet him in Omaha, or Mar-a-Lago, or he can pick the place.”
