Former Democrat Speaker of the House, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (Commie-CA), has joined the Donald Trump-led new birther movement against constitutional conservative presidential candidate Ted Cruz, a desperate, last ditch effort to shave a few percentage points off of the soaring Cruz’s lead in Iowa, with the Iowa Caucus now only three weeks away.
The House minority leader, who violates the U.S. Consitution as a matter of career, said that Ted Cruz’s eligibility is a “constitutional issue” and must be decided “in a constitutional way.”
So Nancy Pelosi suddenly cares about the U.S. Constitution?
Here’s the exchange at Pelosi’s press conference, notice her shock that McCain said the issue of Cruz’s eligibility is debatable, even though he McCain ran for president in 2008 and was born in Panama:
Q: Madam Leader, I’m curious for your perspective. Is the Canadian born Senator Ted Cruz, do you think, eligible to be President? John McCain said he didn’t know today. I was curious for your perspective.
Leader Pelosi. He said he didn’t know?
Leader Pelosi. Well, you know, again, this is inside baseball – to use one of Chad’s always sports analogies – inside baseball of the Republican Party. It’s up to them to decide.
I do think there is a distinction between John McCain being born to a family and serving our country in Panama than someone born in another country. But, again, this is a constitutional issue that will either be decided or not, but in a constitutional way.
So suddenly, you have Donald Trump, who has flip-flopped twice on Ted Cruz’s eligibility, who did say he did know Cruz was eligible, but now isn’t so sure since Cruz is climbing in the polls and has overtaken Trump in the key state of Iowa.
You have Rand Paul, a three-percenter in the polls — he can’t seem to get above 3% — who earlier said Cruz was eligible, but now “doesn’t know.” Rand Paul knows better.
You have RINO John McCain, an enemy of Cruz’s who ran for president in 2008 and refused to bring up Barack Obama’s controversial eligibility, now saying that Cruz’s eligibility is under question.
And then, to top it off, we now have Communist Nancy Pelosi joining the birther movement against Ted Cruz.
Meanwhile, a real constitutional scholar Mark Levin has offered to debate anyone on Ted Cruz’s eligibility, including Donald Trump himself.
On Friday, Mark Levin lambasted those pushing birtherism are making themselves “look stupid and are stupid, and I suspect they’ve hurt their reputations — including Trump.”
