Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, a constitutional conservative, shot back to the hateful and racist cartoon published in the leftist Washington Post yesterday by Ann Telnaes which shamefully depicted Cruz’s young children as monkeys.
As evil and despicable as Telnaes’ portrayal of Ted Cruz’s 5- and 7-year old girls is, Cruz may be getting the last laugh, making a cartoon of his own to punk The Post, as well as its leftist Democrat Media Complex co-member, The New York Times for extra measure.
Ted Cruz posted on Twitter a “better idea” for a political cartoon, showing Hillary Clinton walking her two favorite lapdog media outlets:
Seems like a better idea for a cartoon: Hillary and her lapdogs. pic.twitter.com/dou9c7fS4U

In case you missed it, here’s a screenshot of the original WAPO cartoon, which Ann Telnaes tweeted and then deleted after editor Fred Hiatt removed it, without issuing an apology to the Cruz family.
At a campaign stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, Ted Cruz told reporters that, “Not much ticks me off, but making fun of my girls, that will do it.”
“All of us learned in kindergarten, don’t hit little girls. It’s not complicated — don’t make fun of a 5-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl,” Cruz said, noting that all children of politicians should be off-limits:
Shamefully, progressive leftist Ann Telnaes has not apologized for the hateful attack against the young children, but doubled-down, tweeting in full snotty snark mode:
As one might imagine, of course, there has been no outrage from the left regarding Telnaes depicting Ted Cruz’s young daughters as animals. Imagine the response if Obama’s daughters were depicted as monkeys!
