Active Shooter at Lackland AFB; 2 Dead

Lackland Air Force Base, located in Bexar County, Texas which is outside San Antonio, is on lockdown with an active shooter situation.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office believe this is a murder-suicide, but the base remains on lockdown. Two people are reportedly dead.

The FBI is also currently on the scene.

This comes just one day after Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley testified before the senate armed services committee and said there is no need for soldiers to carry weapons. General Milley said that reliance on police to stop an active shooter is “adequate.”
