The results are in for the George GOP primary and, as expected, bombastic billionaire and reality TV star Donald Trump was declared the winner of the Peach State with 47.7% of the vote, with 2.5% reporting. Trump was the projected winner by several news services early in the tallying because of the wide margin between second and third place.

Constitutional conservative Ted Cruz and Gang of Eight leader Marco Rubio rounded are presently neck-and-neck with Cruz at 21.2% and Rubio at 21.1%. The race for second place is too close to call at this point.

Far behind are Dr. Ben Carson at 4.9% and Ohio Governor John Kasich at 4.1%, who came in fourth and fifth place respectively.
