Another Media Narrative About the San Bernardino Terrorists has Just Been Turned on Its Head

The question of when the San Bernardino terrorists, Syed Rizwan Farook and his Pakastani national wife Tashfeen Malik, were ‘radicalized’ has finally been answered and the discovery will bring even more criticism to the vetting of immigrants in any capacity prior to their entry into America.

Malik came to this country on a K-1 fiancee visa. She passed the so called stringent vetting process even though she used a fake address on her application and had ties to a radical mosque and controversial imam in Islamabad. On Wednesday morning, FBI Director James Comey testified before a Senate panel and provided details about Farook and Malik that is quite astonishing and damning. The two were radicalized long before they even met and began dating.

At one point, authorities thought perhaps Malik radicalized her American-born husband of Pakastani descent. But, they have now learned that both were dedicated to jihad independently of each other, before they began their online dating. They also had discussed martyrdom and a jihad attack at the end of 2013 before the rise of ISIS, Obama’s JV terrorist team.

Comey testified, “These two killers were radicalized for quite a long time. Our investigation to date shows that they were radicalized before they started courting or dating each other online, and as early as the end of 2013, were talking to each other about jihad and martyrdom before they became engaged and married and were living in the U.S.”

But, that’s not all. Although Obama stated during his presidential address on Sunday that they did not believe the two had been directed by an international terrorist group, Comey did say that they were inspired in their jihad by terrorist organizations. He said, “We believe they were inspired by foreign organizations. We are working very hard to see if anyone else was involved in assisting, equipping or helping them. And did they have other plans?”

Malik reportedly gave her allegiance to ISIS just prior to the terrorist attack in San Bernardino at the Inland Regional Center where she and her husband slaughtered 14 people and injured 21 more. These people were having a Christmas party when they were murdered by their co-worker Farook and his wife. They had months earlier thrown a baby shower for the Muslim couple.

Malik and Farook were both killed by police after they opened fire on the cops during a low-speed chase on the day of their terrorist attack.

The FBI is also investigating a large sum of money, $28,500, that was deposited into Farook’s account before the terrorist attack. They also believe that the couple had not only been training for this attack for a year, but that there was another terrorist attack that Farook conspired to commit in 2012. He reportedly did not go through with the attack at the time due to the arrest of numerous people in Southern California at that time on terror-related charges.
