Butthurt or Principled? Trump Announces He’s Boycotting this Major News Network

Real estate mogul, reality TV star, and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has demanded over and over again that he must feel he is being treated fairly or else. Apparently, he is not satisfied with FOX News reporting of the presidential race and has decided to take his ball and go home rather than continue to appear on FOX News programs.

Trump announced via Twitter on Wednesday morning that he will no longer appear on any FOX News show in the foreseeable future.

Though Trump has been known to go off on rants on Twitter, and even use it as a mechanism to pepper FOX News personalities with criticisms and insults, this morning he was straight and to the point.

In addition to his continued berating of FOX News’ Megyn Kelly on Twitter, he recently went on the attack against Bill O’Reilly.

A Republican presidential debate is scheduled in November on FOX News’ sister channel, FOX Business. In addition, a second debate on FOX News itself is scheduled for January. Does this mean that Trump will not participate in either of those debates?

Will this decision by Trump hurt him among the conservative and Republican base? Will Trump leave it at that or will he take to Twitter again to go on a rant? Why is Trump boycotting FOX News, the network watched undoubtedly by the majority of Republicans and conservatives in the country, yet is obviously embracing the far-left networks with open arms?

Only time will tell how this decision will impact Trump.

What do you think?
