UPDATE: ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks which thus far have claimed a reported 34 lives and injured 180 more. The attacks were coordinated, just like the Paris attacks were, with two bombings at the Zaventem Airport and a third bombing at the Maelbeek train station located near the European Union headquarters.

UPDATE: The European Union has cancelled all meetings today and Airports and Metros across Europe have tightened security.
UPDATE: Belgian public broadcaster VRT are now reporting 13 dead and 35 severly injured from just the Airport attack.

UPDATE: There are now reports of explosions in downtown Brussels. This new explosion has happened outside a Metro station. Belgium is now on their highest possible terror alert.

UPDATE: Two sources from Belgium media have reported upwards of 11 dead and many more injured. Also there is an unconfirmed report that one of the blasts happened at the American Airlines check-in counter.
UPDATE: Unconfirmed reports that shots were fired and Arabic shouts were heard just before the explosions happened.
There are confirmed reports of two explosions at the airport in Brussels, Belgium, according to Sky NEWS.
It’s unclear at this point what caused the explosions, or if they’re related to terrorism.
Confirmed from Belgium news agency that there is 1 dead and several injured.
The airport is being evacuated, passengers were directed to the runways and all flights have been grounded.
They are telling people DO NOT go to the airport.
This comes just 4 days after twenty-six-year-old Salah Abdeslam, a Belgian-born French citizen, was captured by authorities in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek after a shootout with police.
