Major Hollywood Megastar Changes Presidential Endorsement

Actor James Woods has become somewhat of a star on Twitter, amassing followers who love to see what witty commentary Woods has to offer. He has been quite vocal with his criticism of Obama and other leftists, and often comes out with his defense and support of conservatism.

Woods, who has previously come out in support of former secretary turned Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, changed his endorsement for the presidency on Monday night. He announced his shift on Twitter after having a 40-minute long conversation with Texas Senator and GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz.

This shift in support for the presidential race did not come lightly, as Woods indicated that he has had his eye on Cruz due to his steadfast devotion to conservative principles. He recognized that Cruz cared nothing about popularity, but stuck to his principles rather than doing what many politicians, especially those named Clinton, do which is to stick their finger in the wind to determine which stance is most popular.

As the GOP presidential primary heats up and Ted Cruz gains ground, Woods spoke with Cruz on Monday night and ultimately changed his presidential endorsement from Fiorina to Cruz as he announced that Ted Cruz is “the real deal.”

Woods’ support of Cruz didn’t just stem from generic ideological stances. Rather, he was specific in what he loved about Cruz.

Woods continued his announcement of support for Ted Cruz for President by praising Cruz for his steadfast support for conservative principles and acknowledging his willingness to fight against Obama, even when those around him would not do the same, as well as his love of country.

In addition, he took a jab at the corrupt Clinton Crime Family, painting a Hillary Clinton presidency to be a third term of Barack Hussein Obama, while simultaneously praising Cruz.

I guess you can say that James Woods, the actor with the well-established 40-year movie and television career, is now part of the #CruzCrew.
