RINO relic John McCain handily defeated primary challenger Dr. Kelli Ward by a whopping 13 points, 52-39%, on Tuesday, with two other Republicans splitting ten percent of the vote.
But on Monday, just one day before the primary vote, Breitbart News (aka: Trumpbart) released a poll showing the race — in their words — within a “razor thin” margin of just four percent, with the 80-year-old McCain slightly leading the former Arizona state senator.
The Breitbart story announcing the poll results suggested that Ward was ready to pull off an unexpected upset over McCain:
Dr. Kelli Ward may end up pulling off a surprise victory against longtime incumbent Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Tuesday, as new polling from Breitbart News Network and Gravis Marketing shows a razor thin lead for McCain.
The Breitbart poll, conducted on August 27, had a margin of error of just 2.8 percent, and showed McCain ahead 37-33 percent, with 23 percent undecided.
Donald Trump often complains that polls showing him behind are “rigged” (never the ones showing him ahead, of course). Polls from mainstream media are often accused of having a liberal bias. However, from a “conservative” news source, one has to wonder if the polling is also “rigged” on the right, considering how far off the Breitbart poll was in the McCain race.
Arizona voters would have been well-served by ousting John McCain, who legislates like a liberal and campaigns like a conservative. Deceiving Republican voters in polls showing his primary opponent doing much better than she was actually doing does hot help the conservative cause, nor did it help defeat John McCain.
