#Brexit Leader TELLS-OFF EU Parliament: ‘You’re Not Laughing NOW, Are You?!’

American liberals are desperately working to downplay the significance of the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union (EU). Attempting to pretend that this was merely a British referendum, leftists and various globalists around the world are working to try and pretend that the #Brexit vote did not send shockwaves throughout the world as it stands as a tremendous rejection of the brand of one-world economics and cultural suicide that has been promoted for decades.

The UK vote serves as a startling rejection of globalist economics that are centered on a belief that strong nations are obliged to carry the economic weight of weak nations.

It also served as a rejection of the open-border ideology that is destroying European culture.

The left has taken to a “sour grapes” mentality. However, one of the fiercest leaders of the UK’s Independence Movement, Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party, could not help but rub salt in the wounds of the EU officials who loathe the departure of the UK from the EU.

Standing in the EU Parliament, Farage gloated,

“Isn’t it funny? When I came here 17 years ago and I said that I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the European Union, you all laughed at me. Well, I have to say, you’re not laughing now, are you?”

Farage praised the Britons who declared “We want our country back” and those who wanted Britain to be “an independent, self-governing, normal nation.”

Amidst boos and jeers from outraged bureaucrats, Farage criticized the elitist EU officials for their detachment from the wishes of society and laid-into the EU for a number of grievances.

“I know that virtually none of you have ever done a proper job in your lives or worked in business or worked in trade or indeed ever created a job. But listen, just listen,” Farage said as much of the assembly booed. “You, as a political project, are in denial.”

“You’re in denial that your currency is failing,” Farage said. He also directly called-out German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her ridiculously lenient open-border policy that is allowing Europe to be flooded with Muslim refugees- a crisis that has led to very-serious safety concerns as rapes, murders and various crimes have skyrocketed as a result of the tremendous influx of Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

EU officials have hinted that they intend to make the departure difficult for the British as negotiations begun to untangle the intertwined economics of both the UK and the EU.

Farage, however, called for the EU to be mature about the decision to leave.

“Let’s cut between us a sensible, tariff-free deal, and thereafter, recognize that the United Kingdom will be your friend, that we will trade with you, we will cooperate with you, we will be your best friends in the world,” Farage said.

Predictably, many EU officials in attendance interrupted during Farage’s speech and many more offered scathing criticism of the gloating politician’s speech.

In truth, exit leaders are doing what is best for their country. Similarly, Belgians should work for Belgians, the French should work for the French and so on.

The UK has rejected the failed globalist agenda. If the rest of the European Union nations wish to remain aboard a sinking ship, that’s their choice. But they should at least appreciate that the UK is looking out for themselves and the rest of the nations should attempt to do similarly.
