BRUTAL: Media Matters Shill Tries to Defend Hillary, MSNBC Hosts Laugh in His Face

Hillary Clinton operates with a reckless disregard for consequences. It’s hardly surprising; President Obama has been operating as if he is above the law for over six years now and the Teflon Don of the executive branch has ducked and dodged accountability for his many crimes and treasons.

However, Hillary Clinton is not Barack Obama. Her aristocratic sneer and her flippant attitude have irked even centrist Democrats and as scrutiny continues to mount over her email scandals, the question is no longer, “Has she done something wrong?” Instead, the question is, “How criminal were her actions?”

Media Matters’ David Brock is a fixture on MSNBC as the two “news” organizations remain dedicated to providing cover for liberals from public scrutiny of their actions. However, in Hillary’s case, her conduct has been so indefensible that MSNBC hosts laughed in Brock’s face as he tried to defend Clinton and her actions.

On Monday, Brock appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to discuss Hillary’s email scandal where the former Secretary of State maintained a private email account on an unsecured server which she used to transmit classified documents in clear violation of both national security protocol and commonsense.

Brock laid-down covering fire and refuted already-stipulated facts. Finally, being unable to contain herself, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski told Brock, “You can’t disagree with facts.”

As Brock tried to weakly explain-away Hillary’s conduct, Brzezinski laughed in his face at the pathetic attempt.

Brock was on the show to plug his latest book which serves as a rabid Clinton defense that cherry-picks convenient half-truths to demonstrate a supposed hit-job on the Clintons.

Host Joe Scarborough asked, “Are all the scandals involving the Clintons, quote, ‘fake scandals’”?

“Yeah, sure,” Brock said. “I take you through each one in this book, and I’ve dealt with the ones from the ’90s in prior books, as you know. Look, nothing’s been found. These are nothingburgers.”

The hosts appeared to not be able to comprehend what they were hearing. Soon, the conversation shifted to a rabid denial of any wrongdoing on Hillary’s part by Brock and the hosts could take it no more.

David Brock: But six months ago I wouldn’t have thought we would be here taking about the emails.

Joe Scarborough: But it’s not a Republican playbook. That’s the thing, you say it’s a nothingburger. If it is a nothingburger, you attack The New York Times, you attack the FBI as well. Do you think the FBI is on a witch hunt against Hillary Clinton? You know, Hillary will come out and says things that just aren’t true. She’ll say, “Gee, I didn’t break any rules.” She did. There was a 2009 regulation — you talk to the Obama administration…

Mika Brzezinski: He doesn’t believe that.

Brock: I don’t.

Brzezinski: I don’t get that. [Laughter]

Brock: We can agree to disagree.

Scarborough: We can agree to disagree.

Brzezinski: But you can’t disagree with facts.

Scarborough: We did. Hold on a second. When you’re disagreeing with that, understand you’re also disagreeing with people in the Obama administration that put the regulations out there that tell us she broke the rules. So you can, you’re entitled to whatever you want to believe, but you are in a corner by yourself when you believe that.

Brock: Every employee in the government has the decision to make to classify work-related or personal.

Scarborough: And if they follow the 2009 regulation –

Brock: Which she did

Scarborough: No, she didn’t. That is a matter of fact. Just a matter of fact. You’re not even entitled to that opinion.

As odd as it may be to read (and even harder to write), the hosts for MSNBC are spot-on on this one.

We are all entitled to an opinion, no matter how ill-informed or naïve it is. However, we cannot make-up our own facts.

For example: one is entitled to say, “Richard Nixon was good president.” One is not entitled to say, “Richard Nixon was the 13th pope and was also the fifth Beatle.”

The die-hard left may defend Hillary all they like, but they do so at the peril of their own professional reputations. When MSNBC no longer even bothers to nod-along to the liberal lies and spin, it’s clear the narrative isn’t taking hold and it is time to cut bait.
