Why You Should Buy A Black Rifle (AR-Type) NOW

If it is legal in your state, and you have been considering purchasing a Black Rifle (AR-Type), you should buy one now; sooner rather than later.

Why? Well, think about my opening: “If it is legal in your state”. Seven states have simply banned them (or have implemented such severe restrictions on designs that manufacturers have had to adapt to comply with a law): California, New Jersey, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts and New York.

In addition, many states have introduced bills during recent legislative sessions to ban these rifles. Washington State and Georgia are just two. Keep in mind that the measure in the State of Georgia that is being considered is an outright ban with no grandfathering rights. This type of law would make it illegal to even possess a black rifle. That means that if that law is passed, the State of Georgia would seek to confiscate any black rifle currently owned by any citizen in that state. But, yeah, the anti-gun folks aren’t trying to “take your guns.” Got it.

Notice I use the term” black rifle”. Another term that is accurate is: “modern sporting rifle”. These rifles ARE NOT “assault rifles”. An “assault rifle” is an automatic sub-machine gun capable of continuous and/ or select fire. The term originated from “storm rifle,” a term reportedly coined by Adolph Hitler for the German StG 44 rifle developed during World War II.

The anti-gun left would have you believe that black rifles that are legally available to the public for sale are “assault rifles”. They are NOT. That is a LIE. They are not capable of continuous fire or select fire unless it is a variation sold to and used by the military. They are not even as powerful as many hunting rifles unless they are chambered to accept powerful hunting rounds like the .308. Most AR type rifles are chambered to accept the.223 round. Many are even chambered to accept a simple .22LR round. If they are chambered to accept rounds such as the .308, it is because many hunters now use black rifles to HUNT. The last time I checked, hunting is legal in this Republic.

The only difference between an AR-15 legally available to the public and any other semi-automatic rifle are design elements. We all remember the tragedy of Columbine. At that time, there was an “assault weapons” ban. Back then, you could go not into a gun shop and legally buy an AR-type black rifle. So what firearms did the psychotic killers at Columbine utilize? They used semi-automatic handguns, sawed-off shotguns and a Hi-Point model 995 semi-automatic rifle. In fact, a current rendition of the rifle they used would have been illegal back then simply because of pure cosmetic elements, nothing more.

Oh, and their primary goal was not to use firearms, but bombs. They only resorted to using their firearms primarily because their bombs didn’t go off.

The left loves to demonize the black rifle even though ALL rifles account for only a sliver of firearm related homicides. The number one firearm used in homicides is the semi-automatic pistol.  Yet, no lawmaker in his or her right mind, democrat or republican, would ever call for a ban of semi-automatic handguns.

Democrat lawmakers all over the nation are moving to ban black rifles even though such media outlets like the left-leaning Huffington Post recognize that most Americans DO NOT support such a ban. And, while I’m at it, let me mention that women are more and more the biggest fans of the black rifle.

So why buy a black rifle? Well, they are relatively light, easy to maneuver, adjustable and are essentially a PLATFORM that can be customized to change upper receivers, stocks, and other elements. It is the perfect platform for a truly customized rifle.

Why buy one now? Because if there is one type of firearm that the left despises and wants desperately to get rid of, it is the black rifle. The only thing stopping them is your local state legislature. Heller-v- D.C. won’t help. Once your state legislature comes under democrat party control, chances are that you can kiss the right to buy one of these rifles goodbye. If such a measure does end up being passed and signed into law in your state, hopefully, the law will allow for grandfather rights.

I should mention that you should always be aware of what your state legislature is up to regarding gun control laws and be prepared to fight them tooth and nail to the end. In addition, don’t listen to the left’s reasoning that “no one NEEDS” a black rifle.  I’ll let ICE-T remind you what the right to bear arms is for.

At this point in this election season, everything is up in the air. Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders want to curtail your right to bear arms. Both want to ban black rifles. State legislature make-ups will change. The House of Representatives could be lost to the Democrats. Heller was decided 5 to 4! We are one Justice away from the Left being able to reverse that decision.

Oh, and if you need another reason to buy a black rifle, consider that even the ultra-liberal LA Times very begrudgingly had to admit that owners find them incredibly fun to shoot.
