Caving on Gun Control? House GOP Quislings Say Yes We Can! [VIDEO]

Badass Tea Party representatives Louie Gohmert and Dave Brat joined Dana Loesch on Wednesday to expose the House GOP’s latest surrender, this time on gun control.

Congressman Dave Brat argued that instead of agreeing to vote on Democrats’ anti-Second Amendment rights bills, House GOP leadership should have cut the power switch while Dems sat “crisscross-applesauce” on the House floor during their ridiculous rules-breaking protest last week where they made a “mockery” of the House of Representatives.

Brat then gave Dana Loesch a laundry list of items the Republican-dominated House has caved on in the short time since he took office, including:

  • Cromnibus
  • Omnibus
  • Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty
  • IRS targeting of conservatives
  • EPA overreach
  • Obamacare
  • Obama’s regulatory overreach

“Republicans aren’t fighting back, and the American people see that very clearly,” Rep. Brat told Dana Loesch.

Rep. Louie Gohmert, who confronted Democrats in epic fashion during their fraudulent “sit-in,” said that House leadership wasn’t happy with him for confronting the butthurt leftists.

Instead, Gohmert reveals, he was promised by leadership that they would levy “severe consequences” on the Democrats who were breaking House rules with their political stunt, referred to by Dave Brat as an “eighth grade-style emotional protest.”

“I didn’t know that meant they were going to give them a vote on what they wanted — I didn’t know that was the ‘severe consequences,'” Gohmert explained.

House GOP leadership, also affectionally known as the “Surrender Caucus,” consists of RINOs Paul Ryan , the Speaker of the House, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy , Majority Whip Steve Scalise , Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers , and Republican Policy Committee Chairman Luke Messer .

“Are Republicans caving on these gun bills, congressmen?” Loesch asked.

“Yea, it’s worse than caving,” Dave Brat answered. “Our own guys are trying to put amendments on. There’s the basic fact that we [Republicans] have the majority up here — you wouldn’t know it the way we act sometimes — but we won the House and the Senate.”

“By the way, on the gun bill, guess who’s going to be in charge of the secret list on the ‘no-fly-no-buy,’ Loretta Lynch, the AG that’s out on the tarmac [with Bill Clinton],” Rep. Brat revealed.

Exactly what good is a Republican majority when they don’t use their power to protect the U.S. Constitution?
