Within literally FIVE minutes of Ted Cruz announcing his candidacy for President in 2016 via Twitter, the Democratic party started their smear campaign.
Let’s break the numbers down for them. I am writing this story exactly 90 mins after both Cruz tweeted the announcement about his candidacy for President and the Democrats put their tweet up.
Ted Cruz has 355K followers and The Democrats have 365K. Ted Cruz’s tweet has 4074 retweets and 3039 favorites and the Democrats have 359 retweets and 250 favorites. Then there are the responses to the Democrats’ tweet, which were 95% against them.
Here are a few of the best I saw at the time of this story. Enjoy and retweet!
@TheDemocrats It was so ‘disastrous’ the GOP won a majority in both Houses of Congress in 2014.

2014 elections RT @TheDemocrats: BREAKING NEWS: Ted Cruz, architect of the disastrous 2013 government shutdown, is running for president

.@TheDemocrats The only disastrous thing about that shutdown was your president closing parks and memorials for spite, like the bitch he is.
