CHILLING VIDEO: Hillary Event Replaces Jesus’ Name with Hillary’s in Choir Hymn

Perhaps the most disconcerting aspect of the 2008 campaign was the way the left literally worshipped Barack Obama. Political fervor can sometimes lead people to zealously defend their candidates or too-heartily wave signs and banners in support.

In 2008, much of the left worshipped Barack Obama- they did not merely support him. They worshipped him.

The web was filled with evidence- the school teachers teaching children to praise Obama in songs, kids’ books detailing Obama’s awe-inspiring story (or what we knew of it) and countless young people mindlessly chanting the cult’s mantra, “Yes, we can.”

Now, though Hillary holds 1/100th the charisma Obama had and struggles to maintain a following that trusts her, she, too, has devout fans who are willing to worship the monstrous candidate.

In New Hampshire, Hillary needs a turnaround. She is sinking in key states and to do that, apparently she has stooped to sacrilege as a means of fortifying support.

Hillary’s campaign invited the “alternative” women’s chorus “Voices From the Heart” to sing at her campaign event in Portsmouth, N.H. on Saturday. The group misappropriated a black spiritual hymn entitled “Woke Up This Morning (With My Mind On Jesus)” and instead, replaced Jesus’ name with Hillary’s, singing,

Woke up this mornin’ with my mind, stayin’ on Hillary

Woke up this mornin’ with my mind, stayin’ on Hillary

Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah!

I am not a theological scholar, but I know sacrilege when I hear it.

As a brief refresher, God has made His stance on this kind of thing pretty clear. The Ten Commandments read:

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

I understand that the Democrat Party may not be keenly interested in attracting the support of Christians, but open blasphemy cannot endear Hillary to the few Democrats who remain in the Godless Democrat Party.

On a side note, remember when Hillary’s campaign blasphemed our Lord and Savior and jihadists went on a shooting spree and chopped-off the heads of infidels?

No? Let’s remember this the next time a liberal talking head tries to claim that the Christian right is just like radical Islamic terrorists. We voice our disapproval with our words and our votes.
