‘IT. IS. BOGUS!’ Clarence Thomas’s Wife on Reports of His Retirement

Clarence Thomas, Ginni Thomas

The Internet was all abuzz over the weekend with various reports that principled constitutionalist Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was considering retirement. The report sent an obvious shockwave among concerned Americans that the most reliable voice on the Supreme Court, since the unfortunate passing of Antonin Scalia, would create an opening for a Marxist replacement under the next president.

But there’s just one tiny problem — Ginni Thomas, the wife of Clarence Thomas, a conservative activist in her own right, calls the whole report bogus.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Ginnie Thomas called the report completely “BOGUS!” even using a graphic stating “SCAM ALERT” for emphasis:

Ginni Thomas

BOOM! So that demise of Clarence Thomas is highly exaggerated, even by the Washington Examiner’s Paul Bedard, an excellent reporter who obviously got this one wrong.

It goes to show you, you can’t believe everything you read.
