Cop Severely Beaten by Criminal Because She Was Afraid to Draw her Gun

This should tick you the heck off.

With the Obama Department of Justice leading the charge of questioning the actions of police officers in the field, one cop in the incredibly violent city of Chicago, the very city where Obama build his reputation and career as a community agitator and rabble rouser, was hospitalized after being severely beaten because she was afraid to draw her weapon to defend herself.

The officer was not afraid to use her service revolver because she did not know how to use it. No, it was nothing like that. She specifically said that she was afraid to defend herself by firing her gun because she didn’t want to face national news and scrutiny.

Though she feared for her life and suffered a terrible beating at the hands of a violent criminal, she didn’t draw her weapon because she feared the scrutiny that she, her family, and her department would face if she fired her gun and harmed or killed her attacker.

Superintendent Eddie Johnson said, “She thought she was going to die. She knew that she should shoot this guy, but she chose not to, because she didn’t want her family or the department to have to go through the scrutiny the next day on national news.”

The attack on the officer was caught on video by the surveillance cameras of small business owner Louie Rainone. An outraged Rainone stood up for the officer and against the demonization of our nation’s police when he stated, “It is terrible. It is total disregard for law enforcement. They put their lives forward every day for us and to see somebody do this, to pummel the police officer is terrible. It is a terrible thing.”

It is beyond dangerous, for both police officers and the citizens they protect and serve, for officers to fear protecting themselves from harm out of fear that their lives, their families, their departments, and their cities will be destroyed by the rabid anarchists of Black Lives Matter, the complicit media, and even elected officials who go on the attack against police with all sorts of accusations and insinuations of “systemic racism.”

Welcome to Obama’s America, where police officers can’t even defend themselves out of fear of being called a racist and having their lives destroyed.
