Country Music Star’s Bus Caught Fire; Everything in Back Burned Except this One Thing

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Early Thursday morning, it was reported that the tour bus of Hillary Scott, lead singer in the country group Lady Antebellum, caught fire while on the road in Dallas. Scott was on the bus with her husband Chris Tyrrell, her manager, and bus driver. All had to quickly evacuate when the saw smoke in the bus. After they evacuated, the bus caught fire and was engulfed in flames. In the end, everything in the back of the bus was completely burned except one thing. A bible survived the fire, virtually untouched.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Hillary Scott posted about the discovery of the Bible on the band’s Facebook page.

I just got this picture from the scene of the fire and HAD to share this. Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible. I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing. Yall, God’s Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours. – hills

She also included a picture of the Bible which was miraculously virtually untouched despite the massive flames.
