Cowardly Christian School Bows to False Progressive god of Political Correctness

Denver Christian Schools have had as the school’s mascot the “Crusaders” for the past 65-year years, but in this age of political correctness and Sharia Law, the name is being changed as to not offend Muslims, or pacifists, or whomever.

After scratching their heads for a new mascot name that wouldn’t be offensive to anyone, the school has come up with what they believe to be two names that would be acceptable to the false god of political correctness — “Thunder” or “Trailblazers” — although it is likely that some nutjob will soon be offended by either name eventually too if this nonsense doesn’t stop.

This is just another example that poisonous cultural Marxism, i.e., political correctness, a distorted view of morality that furthers leftism, has even infiltrated Christianity, as well as every other area of our lives.

EAG News reports:

“In our mission, in light of the command to love our neighbors as ourselves, the crusader was an inconsistent, inappropriate symbol for that mission,” Denver Christian Schools CEO Todd Lanting told KUSA.

The problem with the old name is that “a lot of people were concerned about the association with the crusades, a series of wars between Christians and Muslims,” according to the news site.
