Deafening Silence About this Baby’s Death Speaks Volumes About Race Baiters Like Obama

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Milajha Grant was only one year old. She will not see a second birthday. This beautiful baby lost her life after being shot in the head in a drive-by shooting in Kent, Washington. The family grieves the loss of their precious daughter and many grieve with them. But  Milajha Grant is not a household name. Why? Because there is no money in it for those who gin up racial tension and animosity. It doesn’t fit their agenda, since this beautiful black baby was not shot by a white police officer. So Milajha Grant is meaningless to them, therefore they are silent.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]KING 5 sheds light on the devastating loss this family has suffered with the most innocent of lives taken away.

“This is so beautiful. Thank you,” she said with tears in her eyes.

But as she held up a book with Milajha’s teeth marks imprinted on it, anger, frustration and heartbreak showed as she screamed.

“They shot her,” she hollered to the crowd with tears in her eyes. “They shot my baby.”

Investigators say Milajha was shot in the head near Reith Road and Lake Fenwick Road on Thursday afternoon while she was sitting in a car seat. Her parents were in the front seats of the car, according to police, when a black car pulled beside them and the driver and passenger opened fire before driving off.

Milajha lived for two days after the shooting before doctors took her off life support.

Her killer is still out there. Police do not think the shooting was random, though they have no suspect. Her great-uncle, Fredrick Grant, said, “The conclusion of the whole matter is – answers will come.Whatever’s in the dark will come out in the light and we’re leaning and depending on God. We’re asking everybody that is listening tonight – please pray for us.”[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]Where’s Al Sharpton? After all, he led the charge against police following the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. He was the one who used his bully pulpit at MSNBC and his name recognition to spread lies and false information in order to make the situation fit his race baiting agenda.

Where’s Barack Obama? Remember in the case of Trayvon Martin, he who claims it’s not appropriate for him to speak out on certain matters said if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon. Will he make a statement that this little girl could have been one of his daughters? Will he speak out against the violence in black communities that is tearing them apart?

Where’s Eric Holder? Did he go to Kent, Washington to visit the family and vow to bring justice to the killer?

Where’s the Congressional Black Caucus? Will they speak Milajha’s name within the halls of Congress, condemning the senseless violence that led to her death? Will they stage a walkout in solidarity with Milajha and her family and against such violence?

Where’s the national media? Will they do story after story about her murder and how it could have been prevented?

Will there be massive protests around the country in response to Milajha’s death? Will there be riots? Will Michelle Obama resort to hashtag activism on Twitter by holding a sign that says, “Hey Thugs, stop killing our girls?”

Will there be outrage about the violence against blacks by blacks?

This was truly an innocent life. Yet, Obama, Sharpton, Holder and their ilk will not show up or say a word about the death of this innocent one-year old girl. Why not? Because there’s no money in it. Because it doesn’t fit their race baiting agenda.

Their deafening silence to Milajha’s death and so many more like it speaks volumes about their priorities and their true concern. They have made it perfectly clear that not all black lives matter. The only ones that do matter are those whose deaths they can exploit.

May sweet, innocent Milajha Grant rest in peace.
