Dems Pushing for CRIMINALS to be Able to Vote in 2016!

Democrats no longer even try to hide the fact that they are fine with destroying our nation if it keeps them in power. For decades, the party who so vehemently opposed basic civil rights for minorities has pretended that it is a moral outrage for the government to enforce immigration laws. They have worked to bring illegal immigrants into the political process to subvert our nation’s electoral system, knowing full well that the promise of government-provided “freebies” will endear the Democrats to the millions of potential new voters who are here in the country illegally.

The Democrat Party has a sordid history of craving power. The Democrats were vehemently opposed to the abolition of slavery. The party also spent over 100 years opposing civil rights for blacks.

In more modern eras, they have rebranded themselves as tireless crusaders for equality and as advocates of the downtrodden. In reality, it’s just the same long-con they’re running but with a different selling point.

Now, Democrats have a new goal. After spreading government dependence to black communities, poor communities and the illegal alien communities, Democrats are trying to get other potential Democrats into the fold: criminals.

Devoutly far-left Congressman, alleged wife-abuser and all-around scumbag Alan Grayson has introduced legislation that would restore the voting rights for felons in America.

It is no coincidence that Grayson is running for the Senate in Florida, a state with 1.5 million felons who are ineligible to vote- the largest amount of any state.

Grayson introduced The No One Can Take Away Your Right to Vote Act of 2016 that would amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to prohibit the government from “disqualifying individuals convicted of criminal offenses, other than individuals convicted of murder, manslaughter, or sex crimes, from registering to vote or voting in elections for Federal office.”

“It’s a bill about redemption, about giving second chances and about closure,” Grayson said. “We can’t have first-class citizens and second-class citizens in America. Under our Constitution everyone, even convicted felons, are entitled to equal protection under the law.”

However, election integrity advocacy group The Public Interest Legal Foundation has maintained that there is nothing unconstitutional or otherwise wrong with removing voting rights of certain individuals after affording them due process.

“Amending the National Voter Registration Act would not, and cannot, trump what the Constitution expressly permits,” the group said.

The group also noted that seven out of ten convicted felons identify as Democrats.

The move comes just weeks after Virginia Democrat Governor Terry McAuliffe unilaterally restored the voting rights for 206,000 felons in his state- not-so-coincidentally right before the 2016 elections.

Most states restore voting rights for felons after their sentence is complete. Some states maintain a predetermined period where felons are disallowed from voting.

Grayson’s latest legislation is little more than a naked attempt to boost Democrat votes. They have worked tirelessly for decades to advance illegal immigration with the hopes of securing a solid voting bloc and now, they have shamefully turned to selling-out law-abiding Americans in order to gain an electoral edge.
