In July, ESPN hosts Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser played golf with Obama and at least Kornheiser must have received his marching orders — attack the pro-Constitution and pro-liberty American Tea Party movement.
The host of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption,” or PTI for short, was interviewing establishment stooge Howard Fineman, the editor of the leftist Huffington Post, and rather than discuss the upcoming Washington Redskin’s game, Tony Kornheiser, while on his show on on ESPN’s 980 radio, decided to turn the conversation to those nasty flag waiving, patriotic Americans in the Tea Party — the same group of freedom-loving Americans Obama referred to as “Teabaggers.”
Because apparently in Disney, the parent company of ESPN, and hater Kornheiser’s viewpoint, standing for the U.S. Constitution is the moral equivalent of being ISIS terrorists, or something, and of course “objective” journalist Howard Fineman couldn’t help but agree with the analogy.
Howard Fineman: “The House needs a dictatorial leader, or nothing will ever happen. And the Tea Party people understandably don’t like that. If the person in charge is a moderate who doesn’t agree with them politically.
So, Paul Ryan has the kind of conservative chops, where, he can sort of try to unify the whole party. But, he’s going to be spending all his time trying to deal with these Tea Party. People.
What he’s probably going to have to do, if in fact he gets in is stage some kind of fight with them and defeat them, or take away their power, and go after them. I don’t know if he’s got the guts to do that. I don’t know if he’s got the numbers to do it.
Tony Kornheiser: “Are they like ISIS trying to establish a Caliphate here?!
Fineman: “Yes! Yes! That’s a very good analogy! Without the violence obviously, but yes, they are a rejectionist front.”
I wonder if Kornheiser will be placed on leave by ESPN and publicly reprimanded for comparing those in the Tea Party, who simply want government to operate within its constitutional boundaries, with the Muslim terrorists ISIS, who are beheaded Christians around the world. After all, ESPN set a precedence for such reaction after the network placed MLB pitching legend Curt Schilling on leave for tweeting a meme comparing ISIS to Nazis.
It’s obvious that one of Obama’s goals was to create some kind of fascist sports-big-government alliance, with dupes and useful idiots like the Obama-licking Kornheiser acting as the Obama Regime’s water carrier.
I hope Obama at least paid for your golf, Tony. Or did the taxpayer pay?
Perhaps, this is what we must now expect from Disney and ESPN, an evil mix of politics and sports, especially after the network awarded a freak, Bruce-Caitlyn Jenner an ESPY Award for coming out of the closet as a woman/man/whatever.
