Amidst both crashing poll and fundraising numbers, bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor Donald Trump finally fired his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski on Monday, with many believing that he should have been canned a long time ago.
But what about Trump’s much-ballyhooed loyalty to those he surrounds himself with?
When urged to fire Corey Lewandowski in late March following his manhandling of former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, Trump responded, “I don’t do that. I’m loyal.”
It’s worth remembering the liberal New York billionaire’s reaction when Ted Cruz fired his communications director, Rick Tyler, in February of this year.
Trump accused Cruz of being “disloyal” and of “using him as a scapegoat” and of firing Tyler “like a dog.”
Wow was Ted Cruz disloyal to his very capable director of communication. He used him as a scape goat-fired like a dog! Ted panicked.

Couldn’t the exact same thing be said of the timing of the firing of Corey Lewandowski? Hypocrite much?
