It looks like Donald Trump has put his feud with Marco Rubio behind him, at least for now. At a rally in Daytona Beach on Wednesday, Trump told the crowd, “Go for Marco!”
Trump has been singing Rubio’s praises lately. Not only has he been calling him a “good guy,” he has also said that he believes Rubio will win his re-election bid. Although initially upon suspending his presidential campaign, Rubio said he would be a private citizen, Trump was among many who encouraged him to run again.
In case you were thinking that endorsement was a little light, Trump did take it a step further and made it official.
…by the way, I endorsed Marco Rubio. He endorsed me. He was great.
According to Javier Manjarres of The Shark-Tank, Rubio’s primary opponent, Carlos Beruff, is considered to be the “Trump Republican” in the race. In fact, the tagline for his campaign echoes words continuously repeated by Donald Trump: ”Put America First.”
Although Beruff slams Rubio on his Facebook page for being endorsed by what he describes as a liberal newspaper, there is no mention of Donald Trump endorsing Rubio.
