As several polls show Donald Trump losing badly to Hillary Clinton, perhaps the weakest and most corrupt Democrat presidential nominee of all-time, the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor revealed on Tuesday that he’s not going to be making any changes to his often unhinged, erratic and unstable temperament.
“Are you changing your own temperament, changing your speeches in any way to make sure to get back where you are in the polls?” Maria Bartiromo asked the liberal New York real estate tycoon on Fox Business.
“I think my temperament has gotten me here. I’ve always had a good temperament and it’s gotten me here,” Trump argued.
Despite the urgings of many advisers within the Trump campaign to tone down his temperament, Trump said that he is not going to be changing.
“I certainly don’t think it’s appropriate to start changing all of a sudden when you’ve been winning. “I mean, I’ve beaten many people, and now we’re down to one, and we’ll see how it all works out, but I think it’s going to work out well.”
Yesterday, Trump gave a scripted economics speech where he wasn’t distracted by protesters and stayed on message. Trump supporters and surrogates touted the speech as evidence of a new, more disciplined Trump.
But if you can believe his words from Tuesday, yesterday’s speech was just a blip on the radar screen. Democrats will no doubt be very pleased with the announcement and they have been successfully pumping the narrative that Trump’s temperament makes him unfit for office.
