Donald Trump Yells at Reporter: ‘You’re a Sleaze!’ [VIDEO]

In February of this year, Donald Trump refused to participate in the GOP debate hosted by FOX News prior to the Iowa caucus. Instead, he held a fundraiser for veterans that was televised in hopes of taking away from the ratings. Almost immediately, the Trump campaign was questioned since the funds donated were done so through the Donald J. Trump Foundation as the go-between.

When the fundraiser ended, Trump announced that he raised $6 million for veterans. As the months passed by, reporters tried to find out which groups received money only to be met with stonewalling answers from the campaign. Adding more fuel to the already hot fire regarding this issue, the Trump campaign recently announced, four months later, that it did not raise $6 million but instead raised $4.5 million. In yet another turn, Trump now says he raised $5.6 million for veterans.

That brings us to the press conference held Tuesday morning in which Trump was set to address the situation. During the presser, Trump chastised the media for questioning him, adding that he is not looking for credit, then pointed to ABC reporter Tom Llamas and loudly called him “a sleaze.”

“I’m not looking for credit [for the donations] but what I don’t want is when I raise millions of dollars, have people say — like this sleazy guy right over here from ABC. He’s a sleaze in my book.”

When Llamas asked why he was a sleaze, Trump replied, “You’re a sleaze because you know the facts and you know the facts well.”

Prior to the press conference, Trump took to Twitter to complain about what he sees as ‘bad publicity’ from the press regarding his veterans fundraiser.

After being called a sleaze along with the insinuation that he distorted the facts, Llamas tweeted the transcript of the exchange that led to Trump calling him a sleaze.

He also added this.

This is not the first time that Llamas and Trump have butted heads. In August of last year, Llamas, perhaps taking a play from Univision’s Jorge Ramos, an illegal immigration activist who poses as a journalist, went after Trump for using the term “anchor babies.” At the time, he yelled, “Are you aware the term anchor baby, that is an offensive term? People find that hurtful!” He also attacked former presidential candidate and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for using the term.
