Why is an Elderly White Woman Holding up a ‘Blacks for Trump’ Sign?

Surely Donald Trump has black supporters. I know he does. I’ve seen some on TV, even though polls show it’s not very many.

So why, if you’re going to try to fight the “Trump is racist” narrative, would you have an elderly white woman right behind the candidate holding up a “Blacks for Trump” sign?

That’s exactly what happened at a Trump rally in Sanford, Florida on Tuesday, as you can see from the picture above and it makes it look like he has so few black supporters that they must have white people holding them up as props.

Ironically, much of his speech was about how “phony” Hillary Clinton and Obama are. The optics are bad.
