Apparently, the website Loser.com is well known for trolling celebrities and politicians.
They trolled Barack Obama in 2008, redirecting to his website. They trolled Al Gore in 2000 redirecting the URL to a statement from the Gore campaign that they were challenging the presidential victory of George W. Bush. Last night, after the Iowa Caucus, the site found another target to troll, and this person will definitely not like it.
After the results of the GOP Iowa Caucus were announced, Donald Trump, who had been predicted by the final 13 polls leading up to the caucus as being the winner, actually came in second. Trump said late last week that if he did not win in Iowa a bad thing could happen. He also shared with supporters that anything short of a first place finish would mean his time in the state was a waste of time.
“Unless I win, I would consider this a big, fat, beautiful—and, by the way, a very expensive—waste of time.”
Trump came in second. He did not win. He did, however, give a classy, though unsubstantive, speech following his defeat by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, telling Iowa voters that he loved them, a much different message than previously when he asked, “How stupid are the voters of Iowa?”
Whoever owns and manages Loser.com then trolled Trump by redirecting their url to Trump’s Wikipedia page.
Something tells me The Donald will not find Loser.com’s message amusing.
