Five-Term Mayor Calls Out Obama as Muslim; Lefties are in a Tizzy

In a September Public Policy Polling (PPP, which leans leftist) poll, a majority 54 percent of Republicans believe Obama is a Muslim. It’s not an uncommon or rare viewpoint, a label that Obama has earned based on past performance of decisions that benefit Islamists and yet are against Christians and Christianity — the religion he claimed in order to get elected.

Even Obama’s longtime “reverend,” Marxist Jeremiah, Wright said that he made it comfortable for Obama to accept Christianity without having to renounce Islam, the religion of Obama’s youth which often inflicts the death penalty as punishment for leaving the “religion of peace.”

Well, apparently it’s okay to tell a pollster that based on Obama’s actions you believe that Obama is a Muslim, but not acceptable to the false progressive god of political correctness to actually utter the words publicly.

A five-term Superior, Wisconsin Mayor Bruce Hagen is under fire from anti-free speech Democrat leftists for posting on social media after he referred to Obama as a “Muslim” who has “destroyed the fabric of democracy.”

But unlike most who are harassed and bullied by the political correctness police, Mayor Bruce Hagen is refusing to cower or even apologize.

Five Superior City Councilors are demanding that Hagen apologize and retract his comments or resign.

Acting like a member of the thought police politburo, an effeminate-sounding Superior City Councilor from the 6th District, Graham Garfield, said that, “I’m just really concerned that the first thing he said wasn’t ‘I’m sorry and I shouldn’t have put that on Facebook.’ I’m really disappointed that he would think that, honestly,” FOX 21 reports:

Hagen told FOX 21 Monday night the comment was made in response to a friend’s comment.

Hagen said he was exercising his freedom of speech.

“Do we still have freedom of speech in the country? Sometimes I kind of forget,” said Hagen.

Hagen says he doesn’t know if he regrets writing the comment, but he stands by what he wrote.

“I have huge respect for the Office of the President, but no respect for the current administration,” said Hagen.

Hagen’s exact Facebook comment, according to FOX 21, was in response to a picture of Moochelle Obama. Hagen wrote, “Unbelievable! She and her Muslim partner have destroyed the fabric of Democracy that was so very hard fought for.”

“As an American, he’s entitled to exercise his freedom of speech. But no one is entitled to hold elected office,” Graham Garfield said.

Uh, they are when they get elected, Garfield. Hagen doesn’t give up his free speech just because he got elected. If you want to run for mayor, go for it.

As WND points out, Obama himself has referred to himself as a Muslim, with nothing but crickets from the left:

Obama, whose father was Muslim, has on at least two occasions referenced his Muslim faith or suggested he was Muslim. He also has a well-documented history of omitting “endowed by their Creator” from the line in the Declaration of Independence that reads: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
