The Democrats are trying desperately to convince the world that their platform is based on love and acceptance. The are no doubt trying to send that message after over a year of painting Donald Trump, now the Republican nominee, as one who personifies hate. However, if you know the history of the Democrat Party, even the recent history of their slams and attacks against the Tea Party and conservatives in Congress, then you would know that their claims of “love” is a bunch of hooey.
Now I could get into the Democrats’ formation of the KKK, the Jim Crow discriminatory laws against blacks, the fact that they fought against giving both blacks and women the right to vote, their opposition to the Civil Rights Act, their push for gun control to prevent slaves from being able to protect themselves, and their support for labor unions which came into being in an attempt to keep blacks out of certain jobs. But if you want to learn about all that, check out Dinesh D’Souza’s latest documentary, “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.”
For the sake of this article, I will focus on the faux love fest from Michelle Obama on the opening day of the Democratic National Convention as she sang the praises of Hillary Clinton.
Let’s focus on one part of Michelle Obama’s speech where she praised Hillary as being “truly qualified to be President of the United States.”
Make no mistake about it, this November, when we get to the polls, that is what we are deciding. Not Democrat or Republican, not left or right. In this election, and every election, it is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years of their lives. I am you tonight because in this election, there is only one person who I trust with that responsibility, only one person who I believe is truly qualified to be president of the United States, and that is our friend Hillary Clinton.
Awwwww. Isn’t that sweet? It’s also a big fat lie.
It’s no secret that the Obamas do not really like the Clintons and vice versa. After all, the whole “birther” narrative regarding Barack Obama was started by Hillary supporters and pushed by her close confidante, Sid Blumenthal, when Hillary was running against Obama to become the Democrat nominee for the presidency in 2008. But like all those for whom power is of utmost importance, they will do and say anything to achieve that power…and keep it.
So, back to that claim by Michelle Obama that Hillary Clinton is truly qualified to be president. These words are in great contrast to what Michelle said about Hillary during on 2008 campaign trail. Back then, Michelle said Hillary was not fit to be in the White House and it had nothing to do with any political experience she may or may not have had. It was all based on Hillary’s personal life.
As she spoke before a group of women in Chicago, Michelle made a case for why her husband should be president and slammed Hillary’s personal life in the process.
“One of the things, the important aspects of this race is role modeling what good families should look like and my view is that if you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House. Can’t do it!”
There’s no doubt that Michelle was alluding to the problem that has plagued Hillary for years – her husband Bill can’t seem to keep it in his pants.
You can hear the audience cheering loudly. Many of these same people are probably now chanting in support of Hillary for President.
In her speech at this year’s DNC, Michelle also stood up for poor Hillary for carrying on despite attacks and criticism on how she looked, talked, and laughed.
“There were moments when Hillary could have decided that this work was too hard, that the price of public service was too high, that she was tired of being [torn] apart for how she looked, or how she talked, or even how she laughed.”
But, obviously, for Michelle Obama, attacking her for the philandering ways of her husband is A-okay….as long as another Democrat does it, especially if their last name is Obama.
