It was June of 2008, and Illinois Senator Barack Obama was in campaign (deception) mode, speaking before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), singing a completely opposite tune than he and his anti-Semitic sidekick John Kerry are singing now.
The presidential candidate had just garnered enough delegates to be the Democrat nominee for president, defeating Hillary Clinton, and was trying to convince Jewish voters that he wasn’t the anti-Israel, anti-Jewish politician many of those in attendance believed him to be at the time, a fear that was validated over the past several days with the passage of a shameful anti-Israel UN resolution and John Kerry’s disgusting and hateful rant against America’s only true ally in the Middle East.
Before we get to the meat of Obama’s remarks, here’s his nauseating and sinfully dishonest opening:
“Before I begin, I want to say that I know some provocative e-mails have been circulating throughout Jewish communities across the country. A few of you may have gotten them. They’re filled with tall tales and dire warnings about a certain candidate for president. And all I want to say is — let me know if you see this guy named Barack Obama because he sounds pretty frightening.
Obama went on to blather that “Israel’s security is sacrosanct” and “non-negotiable,” a far cry from Obama’s secretary of state, John Kerry, which instructed the Israeli’s with Obama’s blessing on Wednesday that Israel must choose between being democratic or Jewish because “it can’t be both.”
Obama, speaking with forked tongue, told the influential Jewish group that Israel “must remain undivided.”
“Let me be clear. Israel’s security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable. The Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive, and that allows them to prosper — but any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel’s identity as a Jewish state, with secure, recognized and defensible borders. Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.”
Unfortunately, Obama received 74 percent of the Jewish vote in 2008, as they swallowed his con job hook, line, and sinker. And despite more than partially revealing himself to be the anti-Semite that he is, Obama still captured 70 percent of the Jewish vote in his 2012 re-election, numbers that should go right up there among the greatest mysteries of the world.
