Former KKK Grand Wizard Urges Followers to Support Donald Trump

Former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan David Duke is urging his followers to get behind Donald Trump’s candidacy and that voting for Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio is considered an “act of treason.”

In comments originally reported from David Duke’s radio program by BuzzFeed, Duke told his followers to support Donald Trump’s campaign in every way possible.

“And I am telling you that it is your job now to get active. Get off your duff. Get off your rear end that’s getting fatter and fatter for many of you everyday on your chairs. When this show’s over, go out, call the Republican Party, but call Donald Trump’s headquarters, volunteer. They’re screaming for volunteers. Go in there, you’re gonna meet people who are going to have the same kind of mindset that you have.”

“Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage,” the white nationalist said on the David Duke Radio Program Wednesday, referring to Cruz and Rubio.

Duke came short of officially endorsing Trump, and said that he didn’t agree with him on every single issue.

“But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action,” Duke explained. “I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
