After Donald Trump hosted Saturday Night Live in November, many lower tier Republican presidential candidates complained about equal time. NBC apparently came to an agreement with them that satisfied their demands.
This latest announcement by FOX News will no doubt spark the same type of complaints from those who believe that Trump is given preferential treatment by the media, including large amounts of airtime.
FOX News announced during The Five on Monday that Donald Trump, current GOP presidential frontrunner, will be helping hosts Eric Bolling and Kimberly Guilfoyle ring in the new year. Not only that, but Trump will be with them during what will likely be the most viewed hour from 11 o’clock until midnight.
The ‘All-American New Year’ will feature Trump live with the station from Florida. He will stay with the station co-hosting until the ball drops in Times Square. Although FOX News has said they will also have other presidential candidates on throughout the night, Trump was the only one specifically named and who has been given a full hour on the New Years’ night special.
