Within hours of FOX News parent company, 21st Century Fox, announcing that FOX News Channel was severing ties with Bill O’Reilly, the new primetime lineup for the network was announced.
As part of the new lineup, Tucker Carlson will move into the 8 pm Eastern slot previously occupied by The O’Reilly Factor, which has been the number one show in news for over two decades, and Eric Bolling, a frequent guest host for The O’Reilly Factor, will now have his own show at 5 pm Eastern. The Five will no longer be at 5 pm Eastern but is instead moving to primetime. Sean Hannity will return to his previous 10 pm Eastern time slot.

The new schedule will take effect on Monday, April 24th. Ironically, that is the day that O’Reilly was supposed to return from his “scheduled” vacation.
In announcing the schedule change, FOX News doesn’t say much outside of the official statement released by 21st Century Fox. They do not address the controversy surrounding Bill O’Reilly’s numerous sexual harassment allegations but instead announce that his departure from FOX News is effective immediately.
