Guess Who the Left Now Thinks is Racist; They’ve Gone NUTS!

There’s a new Charlie Brown movie opening in theaters on November 6, “The Peanuts Movie,” and the left is using the opening to do what they do best, propagate the narrative that “racism is everywhere, at all times, even when it’s not, and even when you can’t see it, and if you can’t see it, it proves you’re a bigoted racist, so vote Democrat!”

The cultural Marxists at Variety magazine published their review on Monday, and of course, just couldn’t resist taking a shot at the lovable Charlie Brown, calling him a racist because he doesn’t have a girlfriend who isn’t black or brown.

Like most classic jokes, ‘Peanuts’ isn’t so much funny as mildly amusing, which is evidently one of the many aspects of [Charles M.] Schulz’s legacy that his son Craig and grandson Bryan fought to protect as screenwriters and producers on the film (evidently trumping genuinely hilarious collaborator Paul Feig),” the skin pigment-obsessed Variety wrote. “But a little modernization wouldn’t have hurt, especially in the diversity department. While Franklin remains Charlie Brown’s only brown friend, a non-white love interest would have been as progressive as Schulz’s tomboyish depiction of Peppermint Patty was back in the day.”

As Newsbusters correctly pointed out, Variety just couldn’t resist politicizing the “Peanuts” crew.

“As usual, cultural commissars think ‘tomboyish’ is code for ‘lesbian’ or ‘transgender,’ so perhaps next they will demand Chuck discuss gender fluidity with ‘Peppermint Patrick.’”

Some people have too much time on their hands. The progressive leftists just keep getting more and more ridiculous. The left will not be happy until Charlie Brown has sex-change surgery, changes his name to “Charlene,” and then self-identifies as a black woman.
