Though there are many who pervert the teachings of Islam in the Middle East, there are those who pervert the teachings of Islam here in the U.S. as well. The Nation of Islam is a virulently racist, black supremacist organization that purports to teach peace, but in reality, has strayed from this message countless times to preach bigotry, hatred and violence against whites.
So, naturally, when a Harley Davidson dealership decided to sponsor a Nation of Islam rally, it did not sit well with many motorcycle enthusiasts.
A Harley Davidson dealership in the Washington, D.C., area recently announced that they would be sponsoring the Louis Farrakhan-led event on October 10th. The event is ominously entitled, “Justice or Else.”
Considering the rampant racist violence that has occurred in recent months, it seems clear what the “or else” entails.
The dealership is located in Fort Washington, MD and is owned by Joyce and Thomas Moorehead. Thomas Moorehead is the Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers and the dealership’s general manager, Anderson Morgan, was a speaker on a national conference call hosted by The Nation of Islam on July 30th for black bikers.
The Nation of Islam is unambiguous in their messaging. Adherents must follow the words of the leader, Louis Farrakhan, who recently declared that “white people deserve to die” as a means of facilitating supposed social justice. In the same Milwaukee speech, Farrakhan called whites “crackers” and “devils” and urged the killing of whites to “show that we are real men.”
On July 30th, in Miami, Farrakhan gave a speech where he urged blacks to “rise up” and “kill those who kill us.” He said,
“Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain. So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling.”
Still, there has not been a peep from the justice department about the radical cult that is mounting a campaign to kill people based on their skin color.
The biker group, 2 million bikers, who had planned to hold a 9/11 memorial rally at the dealership have, unsurprisingly, pulled-out.
Moorehead’s dealership released a statement indicating that they have pulled their support for the event and will no longer be hosting. However, the dealership’s official website still lists the event and the Nation of Islam conducted a national conference call on Thursday for black bikers and during the call, the Moorehead dealership was still be advertised as the rallying point for the “justice or else” event.
The Harley Davidson brand is associated with Americana. Many who ride Harleys are fiercely patriotic and many are white. Hosting an event for virulent racists who believe it is an act of social justice to murder white people is not only a bad idea for business, it supports a hateful message.
