Have Unpaid Federal Student Loans? Watch Out, You May be Arrested

Americans with unpaid and outstanding federal student loans are finding themselves not only arrested, but have had armed U.S. Marshals knock down their door and drag them into court.

Reports have surfaced out of Houston, Texas of this very thing happening. These are not isolated events. According to the U.S. Marshal’s office in Houston, they are prepared to serve between 1200 and 1500 warrants to people with unpaid student loans.

One man, Paul Aker, told FOX 26 that seven U.S. federal marshals showed up at his house in combat gear and semi-automatic weapons. They then dragged him into court where he was forced to sign a payment agreement for his 29-year old outstanding loan.

Congressman Gene Green says the federal government is now using private debt collectors to go after those who owe student loans.

Green says as a result, those attorneys and debt collectors are getting judgements in federal court and asking judges to use the US Marshals Service to arrest those who have failed to pay their federal student loans.

FOX 26 reporter Isiah Carey said that this is a story that would not just outrage the viewer, but will make one wonder why federal resources are being used in such a manner.

While some may criticize Aker for having the ability to pay his loan but not paying it, the fact remains that we have been told by the Obama regime that not only is it not possible to go round up illegals in this country to deport them, but doing so would not be right.

But, it’s okay for federal marshals to invade the home of Americans, guns drawn, for unpaid student loans and drag them into court.

Welcome to Obama’s America.
