Here’s a Presidential Candidate Many People May Be Able to Get Behind

As I was scrolling through Facebook, I noticed a clever sign outside of a restaurant posted by a friend. I found the restaurant’s Facebook page to make sure it did indeed come from them and it did.

The restaurant is El Arroyo in Austin, Texas and, given their location, their presidential candidate makes perfect sense given the distaste many have for Hillary Clinton, a serial liar and egotistical corrupt politician, and Donald Trump, her longtime friend and donor who flip-flops more than a fish out of water. (Maybe it’s because he’s a liberal out of water posing as a conservative.)

Without further adieu, here’s the pick for the win!

For those who don’t know, the first words that McConaughey uttered in his first major motion picture in 1992 were “Alright. Alright. Alright.” Since then, they have become his signature line.

Matthew McConaughey was born in Uvalde, Texas, raised in Uvalde and Longview. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and and still calls Austin his home.

McConaughey’s approval ratings would certainly best Clinton and Trump. He is highly likable and somewhat of a legend in Texas. I mean, how many Hollywood stars at his level doesn’t live the glamorous life in Tinseltown but instead calls Texas home.

A Matthew McConaughey candidacy just might leave more voters reciting his signature phrase….”Alright, alright, alright.”
