Hero Interviewed by CNN’s HLN Wears Trump Shirt; Network Blurs It Out

Steven Eckel, 53, is not only a retired police officer, he’s also a Donald Trump supporter. On Tuesday in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Eckel rescued a 4-month old baby who was locked in a hot car. He was interviewed on CNN’s sister network, HLN, about his heroic actions.

When the interview first aired, Eckel was wearing a Trump 2016 T-shirt. However, when it was aired a second time, the network blurred out the pro-Trump message on his shirt.

Check out the first screenshot picture from the initial interview.

Now, here’s a screenshot from the second airing of the interview.

This is the third controversial thing from the CNN family in recent weeks. That Daily Caller noted that after questioning Hillary Clinton’s health, Dr. Drew’s show was canceled by HLN. Earlier this week, CNN came under fire for altering a tweet by Trump when they posted it on television. They removed the word “Crooked” before “Hillary” in Trump’s tweet.

Who those who might argue that this is a “right-wing conspiracy” and never happened, here is a video of the first showing where you can clearly see Eckel wearing a Trump t-shirt.

Here is the airing one hour later with the shirt lettering blurred out beginning at the 35 second mark.

Perhaps this is why so many refer to CNN as the Clinton News Network.
