Poor old Hillary Clinton. She gets away with scandal after scandal, has lived a lifetime of political criminality — including putting national security at risk in her EmailGate scandal — is never punished or held accountable for any of it and is whining that she gets treated unfairly.
Appearing on 60 Minutes Sunday with CBS anchor Scott Pelley and her new running mate, Senator Tim Kaine , Hillary Clinton tried to pull the sympathy card, complaining not about the above standard that most Americans are more than familiar and outraged with, but that there is a different “Hillary Standard” one that holds her to a higher standard than everybody else.
“I often feel like there’s the ‘Hillary Standard’ and then there’s the standard for everybody else,” Hillary informed Pelley.
“What’s the Hillary Standard?” Pelley asked, clearly perplexed where she was going with this.
“Well, it—it is, you know a lot of as you saw at the Republican convention—unfounded, inaccurate, mean-spirited attacks with no basis in truth, reality, which take on a life of their own,” Hillary blubbered. “And for whatever reasons, and I don’t want to try to analyze the reasons, I see it, I understand it. People are very willing to say things about me, to make accusations about me that are—I don’t get upset about them anymore, but they are very regrettable.”
Boo hoo hoo. Poor mistreated Hillary Clinton. Everyone is just ganging up on the poor little thing and it’s just unfair. Boo hoo hoo.
Give me a break, Hillary. A
A CNN poll released two weeks ago revealed that most Americans believe that Hillary Clinton should have been indicted over her EmailGate scandal, a scandal that would put any other American behind bars.
Meanwhile, in the same poll released on Monday which showed Donald Trump’s convention bounce gave him a five-point lead over Clinton, also showed a whopping 68-percent of registered voters believe that Hillary Clinton is not honest or trustworthy.
That is a “Hillary Standard” she has earned from decades of corruption. No one forced it upon her.
And it probably doesn’t help that well-earned reputation for Hillary Clinton to immediately hire disgraced Debbie Wasserman Schultz , who was forced to resign as chairperson of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Sunday. Wasserman Schultz is involved in her own email scandal.
